Would you like to eliminate user help desk calls to restore files? Would you like to never have to train them on how to do a restore?
What do we do when we need a file and it’s not in the folder we expected? We use the Windows search utility and enter text that might be found in the file and 'poof,' up comes a list of files to select from. Likewise, using Copiun, a user restore is done by selecting the START button and performing a full-text search in the Windows text box. A list of files and versions will appear to select and restore as if they were always local to the user. The benefits are realized immediately:
- Fewer calls are made to the help desk requesting file restores or assistance with an unfamiliar interface.
- IT resources and end user time is saved since training is eliminated.
- Users are more productive and can even restore from a local cache when disconnected.
- Users come to rely on their company-provided backup and don’t turn to public cloud options.
