Copiun is designed with a single objective: to be invisible to the end user. Unlike our competitors, we don't want end users to ever see or notice us, not even when they are recovering files backed up using Copiun. As a result, Copiun provides:
A non-intrusive agent: Unlike other backup products for PCs, which are intrusive and are notorious for aggressively taking over a PC while the user is in the middle of their work, Copiun’s backup process is designed to be non-intrusive, becoming active only when the user is NOT using their PC.
Self-service recovery using full-text search: End users retrieve their files from the backup catalog by simply searching for their content in the Windows Search bar exactly as if they were retrieving their files from their local drive.
No end user training needed: Copiun doesn’t require any end-user configuration on the PC - it automatically retrieves policies defined by IT without requiring any user action. Also, since Copiun’s recovery process is integrated into familiar end user tools like Windows Search and Windows Explorer, the end users do not need to learn any new user interface to retrieve their backed up files.
